In a period when the rates of gold are sky rocketing, we are importing 900 tons of gold annually! Right from poppers to the affluent, each one is mesmerized by gold, due to one reason or other! World experts predict gold rates reaching the highest in the coming two to four years, only because of this basic reason!
The founder of R. B. Bhosale, Jewellers’ Industrial Complex, Bhagwanrao (Dada) Bhosale, was a fourth grade failure, thirteen year old lad, Bhagwan, from an eternally drought prone area of Benapur, who left his village as a black (gold melter) worker, for Chitradurg in Karnataka, who not only later on founded black working shops independently, in various states like Bihar, Nepal, Tripura, West Bengal, Rajasthan; learnt their local languages, followed their culture, but also helped his own relatives and poor families from the vicinity, to install their own shops. It was truly surprising that in a very crowded city like Kolkata, he could create his reliable brand name in Gold business.
Satara district in Maharashtra has a prestigious place for playing an important role in the struggle for independence. Aware Satara district contributed in the independence of India, by giving several active independence fighters. Amongst them, the anti-government struggle initiated by Krantisinh Nana Patil is one to be etched in gold in history of India! In pre-independence era, Krantisinh Nana Patil was a role model for every youth. The winds of struggle for independence started flowing in many households in old Satara district.

Responsible family heads were waiting for a change, keeping faith in God! More or less, this situation prevailed in almost all villages in KhanapurTaluka in old Satara district, and Sangli districts.
Benapur in Khanapurtaluka was no exception. Farmers staring at the sky for rains, worried immensely were residents of this village and so also the youth inspired with love for the motherland and striving for independence! One of these inspired youths was SitaramBhosale, who was totally motivated by the thoughts of Nana Patil.
Benapur in Sangli district, the birth place of Dada and Jewellers’kata of Sangli is a place of great faith for the people from South Maharashtra, North Karanataka state and Konkan. Several thoughts of starting a jewelry shop for Bijubhaiyya crossed Dada’s mind during 1996 to 2002.
Today we have established our business in other states. Our customer has faith in our service. Then why do we not start the same service in our region, for our people? These thoughts made Dada discuss with RajuBhaiyya, BijuBhaiyya and Daji and he decided to start a jewelry shop in Sangli and true to his nature, he put up the board of “R. B. BhosaleJewellers” in 2002, in jewelry katta in Sangli. During the last eighteen years, they have earned their name in a very short time, by earning the faith of the fairer sex by designing and making available beautiful gold jewelry, silver jewelry, diamond and pearl jewelry, pendants, wedding necklaces. This is the first jewelry shop in Sangli district, to make hallmarked jewelry available. Presently, the shop is being run by BijaykumarBhosale and his grandson Prashant!
